The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for representing, managing and running our Sales engagements following the strategies outlined by the Board of Directors. He/she will drive the origination of new deals and the acquisition of new clients within the target territory (Northern Italy and Switzerland). He/she will be measured on generating pipeline, sales and driving revenue as well as ensuring long-term client satisfaction and retention.

We are among the Microsoft top partners globally, so having specific solution selling skills on some of our key offerings based on Microsoft technologies, such as Data & AI, Modern Workplace and Azure solutions is considered an important advantage.

Goals

  • Develop new customer opportunities, manage sales pipeline, performance, forecasting, and generate sales by closing new business.
  • Gain and maintain a proficient understanding of our offerings, as well as of Microsoft solutions, and of the overall landscape of solutions our customers are using.
  • Meet with new and existing clients to grow, maintain, and leverage relationships.
  • Build and nurture a proficient relationship with our technology partners, starting from Microsoft.
  • Support marketing programs for brand development, market awareness, market positioning, and demand generation.
  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers, including C-level, with our clients.
  • Take full responsibility of customer’s satisfaction end to end, from Sales to Delivery.
  • Deliver the highest levels of Customer Satisfaction across the Region by becoming our Customers Trusted Advisor.

Responsabilities 

  • Work to achieve goals and to preserve company’s assets.
  • Ensure that all activities are carried out in full compliance with the rules and regulations, Corporate Governance Model policies and procedures in accordance with the principles of the Code of Ethics.
  • Ensure the protection of intellectual property rights, copyright, patents, trademarks and other distinctive signs, designs, industrial and trade secrets, know-how, industrial sole rights, and confidential information through the control of all his/her operational activities.
  • Build and nurture in-depth knowledge of the company’s business areas.
  • Take full responsibility of the Annual Revenues Budget related to the specific territory, and produce the monthly Forecast, monitoring to ensure it is correctly executed.
  • Manage the relationships with the technological Partners on the specific territory, leveraging and optimizing the use of incentives and fees in collaboration with the marketing department.

Key Skills required

  • Wide and proven experience in a Sales Account Management Role
  • Motivated by opening up new clients and growing market share.
  • Have a solid background in sales and gaining client confidence as a trusted advisor.
  • Have a solid technical background, mainly focused on Cloud Solutions and Microsoft technologies.
  • Proven ability to identify and close new business.
  • Hunter business development experience with advanced closure capabilities.
  • Strategic account planning skills.
  • Ability to leverage network of inside and outside contacts to increase influence.
  • Previewing, identifying, and providing fast, effective solutions to unforeseen circumstances.
  • Ability to adopt new skills and abilities as needed.
  • Shaping and positioning business outcome-oriented propositions.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor/discussion partner to clients.
  • Fluency in sales pipeline management and revenue quotas.
  • Have excellent written and oral/presentation skills both in Italian and in English.
  • Strong communication skills including presenting on general and industry-specific topics.
  • Respectful reputation among the main ICT technology vendors.

Reporting and Other Responsabilities 

  • Implementation of the strategic guidelines of the Board of Directors.
  • Reporting hierarchically to the Sales Director.
