European Collaboration Infrastructure Project

Proge-Software has joined a major international financial institution for the design and manufacture of the European Document Management and Collaboration Infrastructure based on Microsoft Office Sharepoint Server 2007.

The system enables the client:

• To have a single, central and secure repository for all their documents.
• To share documents and communications in a fast and simple way, by using specific authorization workflows for automatic transmission and distribution of messages to receivers.
• To implement advanced search features for information and document retrieval.

The project, the Case History of which will soon be published, envisaged the implementation of the data backup and restore infrastructure (approximately 2 TB) using Microsoft Data Protection Manager 2007 to guarantee maximum backup/restore speed and high data availability levels.
