Mobile Applications: Flight Delay Viewing Console

Within our Mobile Applications range, we would like to highlight the creation of a flight operation monitoring application for an important national airline, which uses state of the art mobile devices such as handhelds and smartphones.

By using suitable web services, the application interfaces with different proprietary systems to detect the data of every flight operation, comparing it with the data scheduled and identifying the presence and entity of possible delays, reporting them through alerts and making the relevant data available in real-time, on both the web and handhelds.

The application provides a centralised search and view console through which, by setting parametric search keys and ad hoc filters, it is possible to check the schedules of all the flights monitored at any time.
The system is entirely created on Microsoft technology.
