Single Multi-Service Card Project

One of our main clients, a leading company in the national market, supplies its personnel with different devices and codes for presence detection purposes and for the physical and logical access to IT systems. The current IT provides advanced solutions that integrate multiple functions in a single device.

An ambitious project has been started to unify the different devices currently used into a single multi-service card that constitutes the determining element for the adoption of a multilayer security infrastructure. Through the multi-service card, physical access to offices and reserved areas will be managed as well as logical access to IT systems.

Within the project, Proge-Software is concerned with:

• Assisting the client in the analysis on the impact of adopting this solution in an articulated and complex IT context such as this;
• Designing and creating the information flow necessary to issue of the Smart Cards in compliance with the provisions set by the Certification Authority;
• Supporting the client in creating the infrastructure aimed to making the use and management of these devices operational.
